The Migraine Puzzle:  

As migraineurs, we all know how important the gut is in our overall health picture.  But did you know that it directly affects how our body can detoxify and plays an intricate role in hormone balancing?

 Our migraineur-turned-nutrition-expert, Josette Herdell, will explore how these first three areas of focus interconnect and how addressing all of them together is essential for migraine healing.

These next three focus areas are perhaps less well known in the migraine treatment realm but are essential for seeing lasting improvement in symptoms.  While we all know stress plays a major role in triggering migraines, do you know how low cortisol levels can keep you stuck in pain?  Add in neurotransmitter imbalance and the genetics that put as at a disadvantage and we have a recipe for chronic migraines. 

But we CAN positively impact all three of these ares and Dr. Tanya Paynter,  our lead migraine expert, will share the role that studies show these focus areas play in migraines and what you can do to change the way they work.

Much of what we deal with as women in chronic pain comes with an emotional price.  Our client concierge and movement specialist, Riley Fortune, will discuss the mental/emotional/spiritual aspect of migraines and what science shows about addressing the non-physical aspects of our pain - and how that can improve treatment outcomes and impact healing.
