Some people argue that the bible doesn’t actually say we have free choice… but that it DOES say that the Lord establishes our steps and that “we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”. (Eph 2:10)

But most Christians argue that we DO have free choice (and in truth, there are enough verses in the bible about choice that we think the meaning is pretty clear…).

But can you have both?

How can God set our plan for us, and know all things, and understand what the outcomes will be, and have “chosen” us… how does that all fit in with the idea of free choice?

Because if you’re pre-destined to a certain path, then you can’t have the freedom to choose. And if you DO have the freedom to choose, how can your path already be established?

And what does it mean that God has His "chosen elect" to make it into heaven?
