Do We Have To Do "Good Works" To Be Saved? Ep 10
Ephesians 2:8-9 states “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
James 2:26 says “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”
Since both are scriptural truths, how do we reconcile this contradiction? It’s been something on Tanya’s mind and in today’s episode, Tanya and Kylene discuss that:
- These two facts are not mutually exclusive despite the apparent contradiction on face value
- They still agree that you are ONLY saved by faith in Jesus Christ and a true repentance of the heart
So then what does “Faith without works is dead” truly mean and what are we to do about it?
